Dear Friend of the Outer Cape Chorale,

In early 2020, it was unimaginable what was to come.  The pandemic hit our communities and our families hard.  Businesses, schools, and social activities stopped for what seemed like an eternity.

We couldn’t have predicted that the Chorale would be on hiatus for so long.  It hasn’t yet been possible to bring together a group of singers as large as OCC’s 100+ voices for ongoing rehearsals.  We are continuing to explore ways to restart the full Chorale for the Spring 2022 season.

In the meantime, we’ve continued programs for our singers, such as our 10-session Zoom rehearsals in Spring 2021 to learn the full Rutter Magnificat and our September 2021 in-person sing-through of the piece (outdoors and masked).

However, for The Chamber Singers, our 20-voice ensemble, rehearsals have been possible with social distancing and masking.  And so, with great pleasure, OCC presents:

The Chamber Singers and orchestra, performing

Merrily Mozart

on Friday December 10th (7PM)
and Saturday December 11th (5PM)
at Provincetown Town Hall

The concert features Mozart’s Coronation Mass K317, along with a selection of Holiday favorites.

All performers are fully vaccinated.  Audience members are required to wear face masks during the performance and adult vaccination is required.

And – for the first time! – OCC/The Chamber Singers will livestream our Saturday Dec 11th concert on Facebook.

We hope you will support us during our annual fundraising campaign this year.  Your contributions make it possible to share the beauty of choral music with the Outer Cape community and to provide a musical learning experience for our many singers.   The performing arts matter to our community!

There are two ways to make your contribution:

– using a credit/debit card on the Donate page, here on our website
– sending a check to OCC, PO Box 474, South Wellfleet, MA 02663

All contributions – large and small – are gratefully welcomed.

So, please join us for The Chamber Singers concert in December – in-person or online – and please continue to support The Outer Cape Chorale as we strive to return to live performances with our full complement of singers.

With gratitude,

Jeff Tagen, President
Allison Beavan, Artistic Director
